This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Apply today! Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain efficiency by identifying problems and seek action to resolve issues.
- Perform all quality-related responsibilities that will ensure that the product meets customer needs.
This includes blueprint reading, first piece inspection, using measuring instruments, and any other quality-related process.
- Ensure that all necessary information is communicated.
- Must be flexible in accepting assignments and make positive contributions.
- Abide by all safety procedures and let others know of possible safety hazards that they are not aware of.
Maintain clean work area.
Keep materials well organized.
- Must maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Perform minor machine maintenance as required.
Meet preventative maintenance responsibilities.
Assembly Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Blueprint experience.
- Machine operating experience.
- Some machine maintenance experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good work history.
- Occasionally required to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Moving/lifting greater than 50 pounds requires assistance from another employee or a lifting device/hoist.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
